Children’s Library Outreach Coordinator – Whitehall Public Library

The Whitehall Public Library is seeking to hire a part-time children’s outreach coordinator to conduct off-site library programming in a variety of community settings. This 12 hour/week position requires energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to young children and early literacy. The Outreach Coordinator will work with community educators to schedule and plan library visits.

Qualifications:

  • High School or G.E.D. required
  • Commitment to Public Service
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Comfortable presenting in group settings
  • PA Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance and access to a personal vehicle
  • PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History and FBI fingerprint Criminal History must be obtained prior to employment
