FOR Sto-Rox Library is looking for a dynamic person to join our Library Staff.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing duties such as checking materials in and out, shelving, registering patrons for new cards, collecting fines, assisting with patron/customer questions, programs, and providing patrons basic computer help.

Duties included but not limited to:

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service
  • Capably represent FOR Sto-Rox Library by maintaining a professional appearance
  • Checking materials in and out
  • Ordering materials from other libraries
  • Shelving
  • Registering patrons for new cards
  • Collecting fines
  • Assisting with patron/customer questions
  • Providing the public with basic computer help

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Military experience would be a plus. Must have the ability to work well with the public, complete tasks accurately, and have good communication skills. Knowledge of computers, computer applications and office equipment (such as photocopiers and printers) is essential.  All new hires are subject to criminal background and youth clearance checks.
