Office Manager – Northland Public Library

Northland Public Library, a busy suburban library in the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh, is seeking a Full-time Office Manager.

The Office Manager performs library Administration Office duties and provides clerical and human resources support to Executive Director, the Authority Board and all Directors as a confidential employee. Purchases supplies, arranges office equipment repair and service, performs receptionist duties, prepares correspondence. Tracks library statistics, prepares reports and Authority Board materials.

Our ideal candidate will be well organized, love learning and using new technologies and software to solve problems and improve process efficiency, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, working with staff and volunteers, vendors, the public and the board of directors. This position includes offsite work, so a valid PA driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle are required.

Federal Criminal Background Check<https://uenroll.identogo.com/workflows/1KG738/appointment/bio>, PA Criminal Record Check<https://epatch.state.pa.us/Home.jsp>, PA Child Abuse History Clearance<https://www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS> and a 10 year Driving record required upon offer of employment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes daytime, evening and weekend hours. Experience using the Sierra Integrated Library System is a plus.

This is a Full-time position with a starting annual salary of $27,645.80, and includes healthcare, paid sick leave, vacation and holidays as well as a retirement plan.
