Cranberry Public Library (CPL) seeks a qualified candidate to fill the newly created position of Development & Communications Manager. This is a 40-hour per week, full-time position.
The Development & Communications Manager is responsible for advancing the library’s mission and vision by conducting fundraising activities to increase philanthropic support as well as maintain a high level of public awareness about CPL by coordinating community/public relations efforts.
Applicants should possess 3-5 years of job-related experience. Previous experience in non-profit fundraising and communications strongly preferred. The successful candidate should be highly motivated, customer service focused, and detail oriented.
Duties include (but are not limited to): coordinating library fundraising efforts; cultivating donor relationships; and developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and communications plan.
Partial benefits, including health care, are available upon the successful completion of a 3-month probationary period. Full benefits after 1-year of employment. Schedule is flexible. Salary is $36-38,000, DOQ.
