The Westmoreland County Federated Library System is seeking an Executive Director.
The System is an alliance of 25 member libraries serving the residents of Westmoreland County; it is also headquarters for the Westmoreland Library District. The Administrative office is in Greensburg, PA.

The System Board is looking for someone with 5+ years of administrative experience with strong leadership and demonstrated project management skills; demonstrated supervisory experience; ability to perform needs assessments; budget development and management.
The Executive Director works closely with the Board of Trustees to further the mission, advance the goals and objectives of the current Strategic Plan, and cultivate relationships with county stakeholders/partners while maintaining a positive working relationship with member library directors, staff and board members. The ideal candidate excels in both oral and written communication, is highly motivated, has grant writing/administration experience, has a passion for public libraries and public library services; can think and manage strategically.
Candidate must have a graduate degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited program.
Salary range: $70,000 – $75,000 plus benefits
DHS Clearances required; PA driver’s license and personal vehicle required.
