In 2018, the Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA), with the help of the Jack Buncher Foundation, created the Tomorrow’s Leaders Need Libraries Today (TLNLT) fund.

This program was established to ensure our library system has the necessary tools and resources for the growth and development of our next generation. ACLA’s Youth Services delivers the necessary coordination of programming and training for this vital program.

The TLNLT fund helps. . .

  • coordinate countywide literacy initiatives,
  • train and equip youth services librarians to provide highly effective STEM and early learning opportunities,
  • provide resources to libraries, children, and families that encourage exploration, learning, and application, and
  • builds partnerships that complement and augment the offerings of libraries to benefit the communities they serve.

We hope you will consider investing in our children – the ones who will build the world of tomorrow.
