In early April the Librarians as STEM Educators grant participants met at ASSET STEM Education for an informal reunion. The formal professional development program ended in March 2016. Since then the participants have incorporated inquiry-based learning in library programming and extended the reach of library STEM programming to schools and families. Some of the participants have spent the last year training and presenting across the state about the program and helping to produce short informational videos about STEM in libraries.

Libraries with youth services staff in the Librarians as STEM Educators training include: Baldwin Borough Public Library, Bethel Park Public Library, Bridgeville Public Library, C.C. Mellor Memorial Library, Community Library of Allegheny Valley, Jefferson Hills Public Library, Moon Township Public Library, Mt. Lebanon Public Library, Northland Public Library, Oakmont Carnegie Library, Pleasant Hills Public Library, South Park Township Library, Upper St. Clair Township Library, Western Allegheny Community Library, Whitehall Public Library and Wilkinsburg Public Library. In addition, the following branches of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh participated: Allegheny, Beechview, Brookline, East Liberty, Homewood, Main and West End.

At the reunion, the participants and a few supervisors discussed what makes a successful STEM program when working with large groups and connecting with families. In addition, the video regarding working with parents during STEM programming was debuted and a sample presentation was shown from the recent training in Williamsport.
