The Customer Service Representative charges and discharges library material in accordance with established library policies and procedures; greets and directs library customers; processes new customer accounts and handles established accounts, including collecting fines and fees and recording monetary transactions. Fields in-person and telephone informational and directional questions from patrons. Extensive contact with the public. Excellent people skills required.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes daytime, evening and weekend hours. This position includes occasional offsite work, so a valid PA driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle are required.
This is a part-time position and includes paid sick leave, vacation and holiday. Starting rate is $11.73/hr.
PA and Federal Clearances and 10-year driving require required upon off of employment.
