Youth Services Librarian (Jefferson Hills Public Library)

Jefferson Hills Public Library seeks a motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly individual to join our team as a Youth Services Librarian.  Located 13 miles from Downtown Pittsburgh, the Jefferson Hills Public Library serves a growing community that has been ranked as one of the best places to raise a family in Pennsylvania.  The person in this position will have the opportunity to build programs and services for children from birth to age 18 at a library that has seen increased demand for youth services in the past year.  The successful candidate will be creative, community-focused, and dedicated to providing exceptional library service to young people. 

This is a full-time (35 hours per week) position with flexible hours.  Healthcare benefits and PTO are included in the compensation package.  Hiring salary range is $35,000-$40,000, dependent on qualifications.  The selected candidate will need to obtain PA Child Abuse/FBI clearances and a PA State Police criminal background check.
