Adult Programs Coordinator
Location: Carnegie Library of McKeesport
Activities Coordinator Responsibilities & Duties
- Plan and organize a variety of activities and events for different groups
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth execution of activities
- Create schedules and timelines for events and activities
- Manage budgets and resources for activities
- Develop promotional materials to advertise events
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and programs
- Communicate regularly with participants to gather feedback and improve activities
- Often may be asked to do things outside of normal library hours or off site
- Maintain and update activity-related records and reports
Activities Coordinator Qualifications & Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with budgeting and resource management
- Proficiency in using software for planning and scheduling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with diverse groups of people
- High school diploma, college degree preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Creativity and the ability to create engaging and varied activities
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks
- Physical ability to participate in and facilitate activities
- Basic computer skills
Hours- Full time 37.5 hours a week, days and time varies based on Activity Schedule
Pay Range
$35,398.00-$40,398.00
Position will also have Medical plan, Retirement Plan, and Vacation/Sick hours after a probationary period
