The Bethel Park Public Library opened in October 1955 in the basement of the Bethel GradeSchool, now the School House Art & History Center, and moved to its current location in 1967.In 2002, the Library went through extensive renovations, reopening in January 2003. TheBethel Park Public Library is now known as an innovator of many award-winning services andprograms and is a proud member of the Allegheny County Library Association, a federatedlibrary system serving all residents of Allegheny County.
