Northland Public Library, whose mission is to enable, empower and encourage lifelong learning and discovery in a safe, welcoming space for all, is seeking a part-time Children & Teen Services Library Assistant.
Responsibilities for this position include performing library work by applying the full scope of basic library knowledge and techniques in the performance of duties. Work involves programming for children and teens, advising the public in their use of library materials, and handling reference and information search requests. Work is performed in accordance with established policies and accepted library practices and procedures. This is a 17.5 hr/week part-time position. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes daytime, evening and weekend hours. The starting rate for this position is $16.00/hour.
