Job Summary :The Library Services Manager (LSM) provides vision and resilience in advancing Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s mission to foster literacy, enable exploration, and create community connections. At CLP–Allegheny, this role guides a dedicated team and ensures services reflect the diversity and opportunities of the North Side community. 

More than a traditional library, CLP–Allegheny is a trusted resource at the heart of the community. Beyond providing access to information, technology, collections, and cultural engagement, the library also plays a vital role in ” supporting the community’s evolving needs through partnerships and evaluation of innovative community-oriented services.” The LSM must therefore bring both library service excellence and human-centered leadership,  while cultivating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all. 

Location: CLP-Allegheny Pittsburgh, PA 

Work Hours: Base schedule of 37.5 hours per week including some evenings and weekends, with additional hours as required.

Compensation: $65,000 (annualized salary)
