Job Summary: The LAMP Studio & Volunteer Manager position of the Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvania (LAMP) at its core is about building, nurturing and maintaining a diverse community of over 60 volunteers. The Manager leads volunteer efforts in creating accessible books through recording and producing audiobooks for the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled of the Library of Congress which are uploaded to its Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) platform.   

The Manager works collaboratively as a vital part of the LAMP management team. Under the general supervision of the LAMP Library Administrator, the Manager leads the organization and operation of LAMP’s Recorded Books Program and Volunteer Services at LAMP.   

Location: CLP-LAMP, Pittsburgh, PA. 

Hiring Supervisor: Mark Lee- Administrator, Library Services

Work Hours:  37.5 hours per week; Monday – Friday  

Compensation:  $65,000/year
