Northern Tier Regional Library Wins National PR Award

Northern Tier Regional Library has received the 2020 PR Xchange Award from the American Library Association for their print campaign in the Advocacy/Fundraising/Annual Reports/Strategic Plan category.

The PR Xchange Committee is charged with coordinating the annual awards competition, under the direction of the Marketing and Communications Community of Practice, Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA), a division of the American Library Association (ALA). This year, they awarded 25 “born digital” winners and 25 “originally print” winners.

Over 300 entries in print and electronic formats were submitted from more than 100 institutions, including public, academic, school, state, and special libraries. Entries were evaluated virtually by a jury of 21 judges. Submissions were assessed based on the quality of content, format, design, creativity and originality.

The jury, which included a group of talented marketing professionals, graphic designers, librarians, and visual artists were very impressed by the innovative work submitted by these libraries.
