The Penn Hills Library is seeking a reliable team member to support the Penn Hills Library Community Fridge and its goal to address food insecurity among Library patrons.
What you will do:
- Interact with the public and answer questions about the Community Fridge
- Drive a cargo van to and from the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank
- Load and unload the cargo van at the food bank and at the Library
- Organize food for later distribution and restock
- Maintain a clean space in accordance with food safety guidelines
What you will need:
- The ability to stand and lift heavy loads for up to 1 hour
- The ability to work well with a team of volunteers and library staff
- Clear, effective communication internally and externally
- Valid driver’s license
- Current COVID 19 vaccination

Job Type: Part-time, 10-20 hours a week Tuesday-Friday
Pay: $15.45 per hour
